This Wave House suite offers a stunning panorama of the Pacific Ocean and the California Coast through its expansive bank of windows, creating a light-filled, serene retreat. Please note that these large windows also bring in abundant sunshine, which can warm the space during the spring and summer. While the suite does not have air conditioning, we provide a portable fan for your comfort. Additionally, opening the balcony door invites the cool ocean breeze into the room, offering natural ventilation and enhancing the sensory experience of being by the sea. Ruth and Paul are at the top of their game in service and loving on their guests. I find it hard to believe it is just my wife and I that get this level of treatment, but, every time we stay here, fresh pastries, champagne, and overall kindness on the property. What an absolute gem! The place was exactly as described. We woke up & went to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing. The sweet treats in the morning & evening were a nice, personal touch. It was the perfect way to start our trip!

This was a wonderful place right across the street from the beach, with a balcony to sit outside and listen to the ocean. Comfy king bed and huge bathroom so it feels very spacious. There is also a very large common room for guests downstairs - great place to go to get a little work done which I had to do. The place was quiet and safe despite being right on the beach - the street out front is mostly walking and bike traffic so it's very pleasant. Hosts were terrific, easy and quick to communicate with, and made us some awesome treats throughout our stay which was unexpected and very much appreciated.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I will keep coming back. The view alone is worth the price. I was welcomed with a bottle of wine and tasty snacks of fresh fruit and dessert in the evening and warm pastries in the morning. The bath tub is super large and I could ease my tired muscles with a luxurious bath. I enjoyed the sound of the waves and the restaurant nearby had crab cakes and clam chowder that I could take back to the room. Ruth and Paul were such gracious hosts I had everything I needed and more. I love the Wave House!

The house is beautiful with an amazing view and comfortable bed. Ruth and Paul could not be a better host, they anticipate all your needs. With special little treats and surprises throughout your stay. We will definitely be back again.

We had an AMAZING stay at the Wave House , Oceanfront Retreat!! This place has the closest waterfront room that we could find and it did not disappoint! The view was beautiful from the room and balcony! Ruth and Paul were the most generous and friendly hosts we have ever encountered! They gave wonderful advice on things to do, places to eat and surprised us with the yummiest snacks and breakfasts… and made my birthday trip extra special! I HIGHLY recommend a visit to Half Moon Bay and a stay at the Wave House!! We are hoping to go back again someday! Randy & Sherri

The view was amazing, the sound of the waves overnight sounded like you were sleeping on the beach. We spotted multiple whales, dolphins, and sea lions from our bed. Ruth was amazing and dropped off warm baked goods and had a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. It’s a really great spot.
